Keep in mind that this is all speculation on my part. It is actually very similar to Roland and how they paired down the TD-12 from the TD-20. Meaning, they blocked it out because they want to use these things as features on an up coming higher end module. If there is hidden stuff that isn't documented in the manual, this would explain the reason some things can't be changed in the DM10 (like the midi notes for the hi-hat and crash). That Alesis trimmed back the DM10 so the can make a higher end module base on the same tech of the DM10. If the stuff is there this confirms what I have thought for a while. Is it possible to copy the midi mapping from the settings page of addictive drums 2 to the piano roll Ive been having the settings page open to navigate which drum is mapped to which key, but its a little tedious and I was hoping I could skip a step. Is the second hi-hat zone sounds listed in the manual (I'm betting they are not)? I will be doing some testing tonight with my trigger I/O in the DM10. On a side note, the dual zone hi-hat thing intrigues me. ![]() That way if people (like myself) who do not have excel may be able to see the doc. Try the MAP PRESET dropdown box in the top left of the Map Window. Addictive Drums 2 includes Map Presets for over 30 e-drum kits. The last thing you need to do is to make sure that the pads on your e-drum kit trigger the correct sounds. Also, could you maybe make a pdf from that spreedsheet. The Midi Monitor flashes and displays information on incoming midi messages. ![]() PM me and I will give you my email address. I have no problem putting this info up on the site. ![]() ![]() Not that it matters as I'm on a mac and I don't have any microsoft programs on my computer. I can't get the Excel spreadsheet to download.
